But at any rate, they can strike a deal, easy. Something along the lines of letting the Rays out of the lease in return for help from the Rays in redeveloping the site, maybe with a stipend paid to St. Pete yearly until 2027.

Or discounted season ticket prices for St. Pete residents! :wink:

I'm sure St. Pete would be thrilled to replace the Trop. with a Polka Dance Club (with free Bingo every Friday).

That doesn't make any sense. I don't think there would be anything which could force them to play there.
