The ageless wonder, Julio Franco (he of 23 MLB seasons), and everyone's favorite backup Devil Rays backstop, Mike DiFelice, are in the managing ranks in Minor League Baseball.
From USA Today:
Julio Franco joins Mets as minor league manager.
Franco is helming the Rookie-level GCL Mets in Port St. Lucie, and DiFelice has the Advanced Rookie Kingsport Mets of the Appalachian League.
Edit: Yes, this is last year's new (literally), but I only came across it now. I haven't dug around to see if they are retaining their positions for 2010, though.
